How to Connect to your Personal Web Space

Access to your personal web space for editing purposes is currently only supported while using computers located on the main AWC/NAU-Yuma campus and only via Windows file sharing. Other methods of transferring files or editing, such as FTP or Front PageServer Extensions are not available.

How you connect to your personal web space depends largely on where you are at on campus. Computers in the Academic Complex Computer Lab (ACCL), AC146, and AC159 automatically map a network drive (W:) to the appropriate share for AWC and NAU students. Users in these locations can access their web space by navigating via Windows Explorer to the W: drive.

AWC students who wish to access their personal web space from computers outside of the ACCL (for example, BA101, BA119, etc.) will need to follow the instructions presented below to create a connection to the share.

How to Manually Map a Drive to your Web Space Share
Note: Students using computers in the ACCL, AC146 and AC159 can skip directly to Step 7

Step 1
On the computer desktop locate the icon for 'My Computer.'
